I am LOVING the sister-in-law dynamic between Eri and Miorine in the epilogue, and I can’t imagine how many times they’ve had this weird ass conversation.
“Why are we doing this new and crazy thing that your wife, my sister, planned this week?”
“HOW ARE YOU EVEN FUCKING REAL AND ALIVE RIGHT NOW?!”

let me tell you king I was so confused when they introduced tarantulas in the idw comic. like I was sitting there thinking TARANTULAS. plural???? i read a few pages ahead and I’m still expecting a second one of those motherfuckers. im there thinking one moment that dude is going to crack open and just an unholy abomination of spiders is going to burst through his chest like how irl hatching goes?? just THOUSANDS of those little hellspawns escaping and scuttling over to unleash pure wrath upon whoever pissed this dude off
then I learned springer existed

Even at it’s most symbiotic the relationship between cityspeakers and their titans is so ripe for horror. How does it impact your sense of self when you regularly conform yourself to the mind of a creature that views you as an extension of their body, as component of a community it built on its life blood?
Then you’ve got your canon Vigilem possession on top of that… now that’s good eating.
